I am watching PBS---US soldiers stories of the Iraqi war. It is good so far.

1. I have it on...in the background. It's making me sadder...but it's good

to see the point of view of soldiers over there for the first time.

4. Boeing is one of the underwriters for "The Documentary Group"

that helped fund this series. I was just watching the one about bringing the dead soldier home - and found it offensive & pro-military - are they all like that?

Admittedly, I did tune in late & others have said the beginning was more compelling...

6. I turned it off.

Seemed to not be much more than a one sided view. Perhaps it got better, but there seemed to be no awareness of how much our troops are over-armed, over-stuffed with their body armor, and tech-gear, and arrogantly ruling a nation they have no business being in. It was sickening and I had no sense at all that the producers were at all aware of just how bad it looked.
