This photo by George Loper is from this collection of photos of a march and rally for peace and impeachment with the Make Hip Hop Not War tour in Charlottesville VA 3/19/2007. Chalk messages are scrawled on the Freedom of Expression Wall in Cville. The "What if it were your children?" question stands out following today's story from Virginia Tech.

1. The wee one there scrawling "IMPEACH" on the wall . . .

I like to see that kind of liberal activism in young Americans.

No sense waiting to the last minute to oppose a bad president.

3. He reminds me of the little boy in the old film clips of Tom Hanks' character in "Philadelphia".

Such a cute little boy not yet aware of the cruelties life sometimes brings with it.

5. Good point. It reminds me that I should rent that film and watch it

again. What a good job they did with that story.

I like the photograph because it showed this family of 3 doing true blue work in a fairly red state.

More power to 'em.
