Source: The New York Times

DeLay, 62, known as "The Hammer" during his years as the tough Republican majority leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, was clearly suffering during Monday night's performance when he danced the samba with partner Cheryl Burke but scored the second to lowest mark from the judges.

2. I caught part of his dancing on Hardball earlier....
His ass in those fire engine red pants is worth it for the laugh factor.

3. I'm sorry to see this
Because what I really wanted to see was Federal Marshals coming to the show and hauling his fat ass off the set in handcuffs.

14. Haven't people older than him competed?
Isn't Cloris Leachman nearly 90? And Susan Lucci is in her mid 60s. I don't understand why DeLay's bones are so brittle that he is literally cracking in two.

15. It's series, folks, Tommy has hugh fractures

Hot Tub Tom's x-rays are just in from the Dancing With the Sisters of the Holy Hoofers Memorial Hospital.

How is it possible for any one human being to be so tough and so brave to overcome such adversities and perform for our entertainment and enlightenment? Thinks of the sacrifice Tommy is making for our benefit!!! Has there ever been a greater and truer American Hero????? Has there ever been someone with the (pending) conviction to overcome such liberally placed obstacles? What a Guy!!!!!!1

Just look at the x-rays!!!!1 The man's legs are stattered!!!!!111 A lesser man could not walk, let alone Samba like a Porn Star. I give it an "!11"

These are the times of our best and fondest future memories. Share them with a loved one. Or a favorite Bourbon.
