Rachel Maddow is the future of MSNBC
Commentary: The new star is opinionated -- but restrained
Maddow, 35, has become such a cable-news fixture that it's a little hard to believe she has been hosting her show for only three months, since replacing Dan Abrams.

3. Seems like a year - could just be time flying when you're having fun, though.

9. It was just before the election.
She got thrown right into it with both feet running. She did a stellar job as the new kid on the block and the first one to ever get Pat Buchanan to STFU and she did it politely. I remember her challenging Tweety one time too on his "facts" and he couldn't deny he was full of shit about that issue.

10. There are a few rare times when I can't stand her show.
But I will give her and her staff props for putting on one of the best investigative political news shows on television ever. Her work in unmasking Freedom Works, Betsy Mcaughey, Dick Armey, et al. has been a service to this country.

12. I understand that too..
once in a while she makes me angry but, she is usually the one who hits all of the points I am screaming at my tv about,or emailing some of these pundits who want to tell us how to look at the news instead of reporting it.

I don't want to be told how to look at a story or that I should look at it the way Chris matthews or a LOT of the assholes on cnn expect us to perceive a story. The ringleader on cnn is WOlf blitzer some times I want just jump through that tv and slap the shit out of him,and a little bit more. Now,lOu dobbs is unwatchable.
