Tom DeLay Dropping Out Of Dancing With The Stars

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/06/delay-dropping-out-of-dan_n_311450.html

Tom DeLay's brief reality television career is coming to an end. Citing stress fractures in both feet, the former House Majority Leader will announce tonight that he is leaving "Dancing With The Stars," according to E! Online:

I just got word that the former Republican congressman will announce on tonight's results show that his injuries have left him no choice but to drop out of the competition.

With stress fractures in both of his feet, the 62-year-old Texan performed the samba last night against the advice of his doctors and DWTS producers.

3. I didn't know snakes had stress fractures. He still wearing his high heels?
This will give him an "out" rather than losing. He can always say he was winning, but had to drop out.

He makes my skin crawl.

10. Why was he allowed the dignity of quitting?
Why wasn't he canned right at the start?

For that matter, why was he on the show in the first place?

12. My eyes!
I tuned in last night just at the moment when they showed Delay explaining why he was going to continue to dance and "party." Then it went on to the live performance of Delay in his bright red, high waist-y sans-a-belt slacks and heels and I almost threw up all over the sofa.
Ewww. Just ewwww.
Nice of him to appropriate a patriotic theme in his dancewear considering his practices in the House were hardly democratic...

I hope that Cheryl has a nice vacation and that, if she returns next time, she is not saddled with a Republican idiot as a partner.

19. Maybe his health insurance Co. will say it's a pre-existing condition
Since he insisted on dancing on his twinkle toes after the fractures.

Or "dancing," for that matter.
