How low can CNN GO! Playing tape of Gunshots for some Analyst to say what this Tells?
Edited on Mon Apr-16-07 03:51 PM by KoKo01
Their coverage of what they call the "Virginia Tech Massacre" is bad enough but the expert sitting there with Wolfie urging him to analyze the tape of the rapid gunfire to profile the shooter is really disgusting. They are playing the tape over and over and over.

What about the families of the kids who were shot and the kids themselves who are traumatized by this.

Let the Police handle the "profiles of the gunman and the rapidity of the shots" and stop the endless sensationalizing of this, which has been endless all day. It's an obsession with violence and ratings.

Meanwhile we have a major weather problem all along the East Coast from downed trees and tornado's in the South (still going on) along with flooding in the Northeast.

We have some issues going on with the health of our Government that could use some attention and reporting on. And, some things going on in Iraq and Afghanistan that need some attention.

This vile sensationalism isn't helpful to the families or the rest of us. When they have facts then they should report them but not pre-empt by bringing in every hack Media Pundit Psycholgist and Weapons expert to bloviate endlessly in SPECULATION.

Our Media is Trash and worth nothing, anymore.

10. Thank you corporate media -
It's no different on MSNBC or Fox Noise -

Mark my words...they will pick every last morsel off of the carcass of this latest news event.

24 x 7 for the next week or maybe longer this is pretty much all we will hear.

Until they lay the last casket in the ground and ask the last grieving parent how he or she "feels" they will do what they do.

Whores.

I'm so pissed off over this.
I've been listening to Randi Rhodes, she's touched on it a few times but she's covered other things as well.

She ain't no one trick pony.

15. This is the best rant I've seen.
And you are absolutely correct.

Quite possibly, if the corporate media would get their heads out of their sensationalizing asses, and report on some of the things you mentioned, it would "discover" that the lack of health of this nation is now reflecting on the irrational actions of her citizenry.
