8. Yeah, I heard him
do one of his famous slips about schools need to be placards of safety (or something close to that)....in any event, he messed it up.

AND, was it just me or did he hustle off pretty quick like his ass was on fire? Looked to me like he couldn't get out of there fast enough. Wonder why? Jack must have been waiting for him with ice and ms pickles and his pillow.

18. schools should be sanctuary's- is what he said I think- and
it seemed to me like he was .... a scared kid???.... like he was afraid... that same kind of ... vulnerable, cluelessness that he has- times when the public needs to see a person who is moved but in control- shaken but not cowed, or frightened- Times when the "parental" role of the President is most needed.

... a shoulder of sanity in this insane world-

think its time to go back to being an optimist in denial= (a realist)

What a sad century this is.

may we all know
peace

6. Resident Bush - - -
Love it. Do y'all know he has suspended ALL tours of the WH to the public?

My dad is a resident at the soldiers home and they were to get 'special permission' to go as a group (all WWII vets) and just got word they were denied and that all tours are still on hold.

Now I ask you - since when does that sick f**k decide WHO gets into OUR house? Especially a bunch (probably 20 at the most) of WWII vets who love the bastard anyhow just because he is the pres and they honor the office.

I'll have to tell my dad about Resident Bush - he'll get a kick out of that.

I'm stuck in a cube right now, so cannot watch him on TV. Is he inappropriately smiling, winking or smirking while talking about the tragedy/

11. There is absolutely NO feeling in what he is saying...
No horror, no sorrow, nothing. He could be reading the alphabet for all the expression in his voice. It is appalling, imo.

He just brings us one tragedy after another and this is all he can offer...;(
