C'mon, people. Grayson deserves better.
Remember how Americans rallied to support Joe Wilson's opponent? We need to do the same for Grayson. Not only do we help ensure his return to Congress but, more importantly, we send a BIG, CLEAR message to other Democrats -- Speak up. Stop being sissies. Do the RIGHT THING.

I don't have links handy to the various sites taking donations for him, but I gave through ActBlue. There are others.

Feeling pretty stupid. Posted this twice in Health forum when it needs to be in GD.

1. Sheesh, wait till my paycheck comes in.
If Grayson is the man he appears to be, he'll stand his ground.

Support is forthcoming for him.

3. Money talks. Donate to his campaign.
Go to www.actblue.com and give $10 (or more) send a message to all the other Democrats that we like and support representatives who speak up and do the right thing. They don't need insurance company money when they've got us.

5. Sorry....
My latest temp job ended yesterday, and I don't have any other employment prospects at the moment. What little money I have is going toward paying my mortgage and bills. I can't give to Grayson or anyone else at the moment. I deserve better, too.

7. You absolutely DO deserve better.
Sorry. I didn't mean to pressure anyone who doesn't have the money to donate.

6. Gave through ActBlue.
We need to encourage this kind of fire in the belly politician when they're fighting on our side.

9. There's no comparison, anyway
Joe Wilson violated a rule of the House of Representatives. There are no rules against what Alan Grayson did. Anyone who remember Bob Dornan (R-insane) constantly spewing everything from conspiracy theories to insults about Clinton in special orders should see there was no rule violation here.

10. Grayson is an ass.
Remember: the task is to WIN elections, and independents outnumber Democrats and Repuglicans.

Grayson said something very scummy, IMO, and it hurts Democrats, just as it hurts my ears to hear it.

11. "Grayson said something very scummy"?
WTF?! He told the fucking truth!

God forbid that anyone should stand up to the pukes.

Grayson is a hero, not an ass. :wtf:

12. Polls are pretty clear now that independent and republican voters support health care reform with...
a public option. Calling out the reps standing in the way of this is not a problem. The Blue Dogs hiding in corners, wringing their hands, pretending their fear of independent voters is keeping them from passing real reform are obnoxious. They use that as cover for their industry whoring.
