A pittance of an offering to same sex families.
We all know Obama has no moral objection to same sex marriage. Here we are in the twenty first century with a black president
denying equal rights to a significant group of Americans. It's petty and disingenuous and I'm sick of it. Same sex families are carrying
an unequal burden in this shit economy because of the economic injustices that occur when marriage is denied. Until everyone stands
up and demands equality for these couples nothing will change.

1. Yep
Although he's never supported same sex marriage. Too politically risky, y'know? Hope and change aplenty - if you're straight.

3. It's embarrassing.
Obama needs to take a strong stand on this and start leading.

4. It has to come...
soon, it is embarassing that the US is even Canada on this....all they have to do is pass the damn bill, make it legal and let the chips fall where they may.. sure, the righties would squawk like hell, but no worse than they already are, and after a few months it would settle down...once churches and lawyers and the wedding business sees how much money there is in it, the squawking would die off.....
