To knowingly hurt another being.

If you think about it, that covers everything bad and wrong. He really screwed me up, because he told me this at my most highly imprintable moment. My whole life has been attempting to resolve the cognitive dissonance from early on when apparently others did not have parents that taught them the same thing.

There is an empathy gene. Dogs have a sense of fairness.

We are losing the identifier that COULD distinguish us as a species.
