I didn't get much from the links in the posts you referred me to. I don't click on stuff without knowing more especially at my job. It's nice that it's being said but I'll wait until it counts before getting excited.

10. At first, when they started talking about indictments and

world court, I was riveted. Scott Ritter and several other credentialed, qualified powerhouses, as well as witnesses of the attempted genocide in New Orleans and elsewhere around the world, detailing the crimes and submitting them.
I am given to understand that they are associated with the indictments of Rumsfeld and crew, in Germany, and the indictments, in absentia, of several rogue CIA agents in Italy.

They have their complaints laid out in formal indictment form, with witnesses, testimony, etc; like a grand jury. Those are, I think, being submitted to world court.
The pressure, face time and anger level are all a-building and the outlook will improve, eventually.

I intend to watch it again in a half hour and get a better fix on what's going on.

When we get a real department of justice going again, there are going to be some really sorry hogs, both in and out of politics-count on it!

11. I hope that I didn't sound too dismissive

They are war criminals the whole lot of them. Invading Iraq was a war crime as well as everything that happened after that. The renditions, torture, Gitmo itself. These are war crimes and should be punished according to International Law and our laws. We knew that they were planning to commit war crimes the moment that they refused to be a part of any International Criminal Court System. Now we know more of their deliberate misconduct because they took steps to have an evidence concealing system in place before they even did anything (parallel email system).

Because I take this all so seriously and it torments me as to how we live in a world where all of the powers that be pretend that none of this is the case, I can't help but be frustrated and disappointed when I hear of some effort to bring this reality to light but not effort by the ones who can actually make a difference. So I'm sorry if this bitterness translated to snark in your direction. Obviously you and I are on the same page- and you are right. Any progress, any moment when this truth is spoken out loud is a good thing. This isn't any group of people either and it's efforts like this that will build a momentum towards truth. It's putting it in the record at least. It reinforces freedom to dissent out loud and in groups. As long as we have that still they haven't won. So I am grateful to these people that clearly have not given up hope and you as well for posting this. I will watch later from home. Thanks.

It never occurred to me that it might be snark.
Like you, I am desperately in need of a solid place, a fencepost to grab on to, a rock, a beam of light, anything sure that could mark a turn around point in a darkening world, one growing more tumultuous by the minute.

When I find myself cheering on someone like majority leader Reid, fighter Reid, boxing hotdog, standing firm, toe to toe,and then deciding the best move is to raise both fists and take one right in the solar plexus, the fog deepens.

Having one nasty bottom feeder after another wriggle off the hook, again and again, leads one to solid unyielding cynicism.

The wave is building and I know it, but the plaintive note I detect in my own confidence makes me want to be careful of my own observations and conclusions.
