PEORIA — .Several ounces of cocaine were seized Friday morning from a Central Peoria home that also operates as a day care facility.
Members of the Peoria Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Unit searched the home at 1805 Gentry Lane during the morning and afternoon. Cocaine, which police said is worth roughly $1,000 per ounce on the street, was found throughout the house on the side street not far from the intersection of Sterling and Nebraska avenues.
