Today we hear that 60 is the baseline for the bill instead of reconciliation - and that Snowe is the key to this.

This afternoon a detailed explanation of the plan omits the public option - hardly crystal ball stuff.

CNN will say something else tomorrow. One day they report Pelosi is behind the public option. The next day they report Pelosi is against the public option. Even though Pelosi has been consistent that the house will not pass a bill without the public option.

It's looking more and more likely that we'll see ... "co-ops with a trigger". :hide:

4. An exchange is NOT a co-op with a trigger.

An exchange is a place where a public option can be allowed to exist.

Possibly the terminology is being used to allow people to consider the functionality of a public option without using the term, which can be inflammatory.
