4. Failin will probably want royalties.

Or some other piece of the action. She quit the Governorship so she could make more money elsewhere.

So if she smells money in it she'll go for it.

6. Too bad for Palin that Fey's work constitutes "parody"...

and therefore there's not a goddam thing legally she can do about it.

But, yeah, you can bet that she's gonna try.

5. I recommended this thread because Tina helped us win the election. But,
seriously, Fey looks soooo much like palin and the script just wrote itself (literally at times.) I'm not sure it's Emmy worthy. I think Tina Fey's work on 30 Rock is more challenging and is worthy of the Emmy.

Anyway, congrats to Tina and a big thanks for helping us not get a bat s-it crazy vice president.

7. Not to diminish Ms. Fey's performance ....
... but, Palin really made it too easy.

10. Exactly
Now if Amy Poheler had done it that good, THAT would deserve an emmy!

11. I wonder if Palin is way pissed?
It is kind of an indictment on her, if you think about it.

12. No doubt
she is using it as an example of how Hollywood values are out of touch with "ordinary American values". Just like the reich wing used the awards and nominations for "Brokeback Mountain" to make the same bogus point.
