We have people who are willing to question not the policies of candidates but their patriotism. We can debate whether someone's policies have this countries interests at heart. (For example, I do not believe that the Bush administration's policies truly help this country and have in fact harmed this nation. We are less secure, economically, in terms of our rights, and in terms of our international standing, than we were in 2000).

However, these shirts harken back to very old tactics. So, these are modern examples of the smear campaign and inaccurate to boot.
