2. Put simply
Melanie Sloane was on from Crew saying what was posted here on another thread - thousands of emails missing. They read Fitz letter pointing out missing emails and the reporter ended by saying that the WH may have violated the law.

and I would have loved to see Melanie Sloane after all the times I heard her on Al Franken's show. Anyone remember his rendition of her theme song before she would report? Anyway, thanks for the details.:hi:

5. fitz wrote a polite note stating that some emails seem to be MIA.
even CNN recognizes that this is hugh. the morans at the White wHore deliberately "lost" emails that should not have been erased.

it is time for us to step up. We need to do what einstein did with physics. Take imaginary trips and make experiments to test what we can measure, see, prove and describe. we need to imagine what those emails contained, and match it to the reality (today's quagmire). my only fear is that we are too nice and honest here, and we are genetically incapable oof conceiving such evil powerhungry crap.

10. If the corporate media will give us an even
break on this, our Dem leadership may find the courage to really pursue it...we shall see. I think the media's attitude will be a big factor because our politicians seem to be afraid of them for some reason.

9. I was in the process of starting a thread on how Ed Henry ended his report. did you catch it?
he said the Dems had BETTER WATCH OUT. They'd better be careful not to overplay their hand on this investigation!

how fricking TIRED of that hoary old meme are you getting?

it seems like EVERY time the latest scandal unfolds, these 'reporters' have to add that little frisson, even though they're not commentators, supposedly.

that really pissed me off

12. Why don't they just record it and play
it at the end of every new story about the misadministration's wrongdoing? They're gonna damage their little throats repeating it so often.:puke: Have the Dems paid any price so far for standing up to them? Did the corporate media issue such warnings to the republics during the Clinton witchhunts? This is really sad.

13. On Blitzer
Edited on Fri Apr-13-07 05:30 PM by Liberalynn
the one e-mail they read from the new dump of DOJ documents was one that the CNN reporter claimed "bolstered" the DOJ case for the firing of at least one of the judges, because she publicly announced at a staff meeting who was getting bonuses and who was not and why, which made some staffers cry. If true obviously the judge in question needs management classes but a legitimate firing offense and why now?

I'm just so afraid the Pukes are going to be allowed to weasel their way out again with the help of the press.

There just doesn't seem to be any justice left in this world.

15. The White House
Basically, in a nutshell, The White House perpetrated a crime on every US citizen from now until infinity.

Those are our emails, and every future US citizens emails.

19. I agree about those e-mails
belonging to U.S. citizens. This administration has a "convenient" tendency to forget the the part about a "government for the people by the people."

16. I read the e-mail pdf and what was VERY interesting, imo,
was that they had redacted who had sent the gossipy e-mail. It only had the name of the recipient, one has to wonder who sent it and why their name would have been redacted.

What CNN didn't read, I would bet, was the e-mail from the US Attorney wrt the issue of bonuses, explaining the process has been standard procedure, etc.

The whole tone of the gossipy, sliming e-mail was quite disgusting, it certainly was not, in any way, a report on the proceedings in any formal way.

18. You are right
CNN didn't mention that the bonus part was standard procedure. It seems strange too that it was that one particular "e-mail" that the correspondent said she found "interesting!"

The name being redacted is a nice cover and at the very least the sender might very well have been someone who was just spouting sour grapes because they didn't get a bonus.

17. thing of it is....it WORKED just fine for the pugs. it's what got Gore
smeared, by association, with Clinton, and caused B*** to received just BARELY enough votes to steal the election. without the smearjob, the pugs THEME (restore honor and dignity to the WH) would NOT have been the meme they ended EVERY SINGLE campaign appearance with

they HAMMERED that message home, JUST as the dems should be doing, with delicious, and well-deserved irony, next year.
