My STBX is an expatriate now in Europe and providing our medical insurance. I've just had to enroll my son and I which is how I came upon this curiousity.

Scenario Number 1; Angie's appendectomy in South Africa, is a little amusing, actually. They don't talk about how Angie felt knowing that back home she could just walk in and get treated--but lucky Angie doesn't have to worry about "arguing" about how she'll pay for it
