2. Yeah exactly
Like something violent or obscene. Since when is the President encouraging children to work hard and stay in school a message children need their parents with them to hear. Oh, yeah, since a black man is delivering it.

Elk Grove Schools Offer Obama Speech Opt-Out
Will Frampton 5 hrs ago

ELK GROVE, CA - School district officials in Elk Grove have had so many calls of concern from parents in recent days about President Obama's speech to kids next Tuesday, they're giving families a chance to keep their children out of class while the President makes his address about education.

snip...
Elk Grove spokeswoman Elizabeth Graswich said the opt-out form being sent to parents is no different than other forms sent in the past, when potentially violent or controversial films have been offered as part of course study.

14. It boggles my mind that Public Education
run by our Gov is censoring our Pres.

Is that not like biting the hand that feeds them?

Although, the polls show a majority want their kids to hear the Address.

4. What do they think he's going to say?
Seriously. How R rated do they think it will be? Do they really think he's going to light up a cigarette and talk to them in ebonics?

17. I feel like I live in another world
Here I sit in the bluest part of a blue state. I can't relate to this nonsense. It hardly seems like we are even in the same solar system, much less the same planet.

8. Yeah, its kind of like telling the children where babies come from.
When they find out the president is a different color than they are, they're going to have a lot of questions.

20. Unbelievable -
it feels like our country has gone through the looking glass.

The rest of the world is having a great big laugh at our expense - as well they should.

Ah, that old FEAR OF THE BIG BAD BLACK MAN still reigns supreme.

I am ashamed of my countrymen. Perhaps even more so than I was when Fuckface was squatting in the Oval Office.

Just hard to believe...............................
