First off, it is also spoken of in the Bible when people are silenced, and it is supernatural. How you interpret it is much of what it is. What is it used for, to educate or to control? To hurt or to love? Is it used to steal free will?
Some groups when they go and talk to people about there faith travel in twos, one to jam one to speak. So many religions talk about this same stuff, but many people don't know about it.
And it is everywhere.
Do you really think when a singer is on stage and 1000s of people are screaming in a frenzied it is not spiritual? But what is it used for is the question. It can be bad, or it can be good. Religion often talks about the Holy Spirit and how it moves in people. So it can not be said that it is just bad in all cases by religious groups. But there can be bad and good to it because there are worse spirits also, depending who it serves. Does it serve oneself or does it serve the better things and the better ways of unconditional love for all?
On a side note the power in my view does not come from a person, it could come from many places.
And most importantly it depends on your own spirit and how you interpret it. There are not any people I get enthralled by, some people were enthralled by Palin, Some were enthralled by the Beatles, some by Reagan, some by President Obama, but many people just respect and do not idolize a speaker. They think on what they say and agree with the parts they consider correct, and many times the person is not trying to get people to follow but to think. It is funny that nobody gets me to a place where I think they are worse or better then me. When a celebrity walks in to your office do you get all tense or excited? He is just a person, if you realize everyone is just a person and no better or no worse, then a title does not get respect but actions of the person in the position.
Note that I do respect many people in office including President Obama and many people in government and the private sector, but most of them would agree they are not better then you or me, and many of them show that by knowing it is us that can make the difference not just them. The crazies that think they are actually somehow special and better then people are the ones that become the crazy meglamical people. People like Rev Moon, and the Bushes, and Rove, they actually have existence doctrines only to support that they think they are special to defend those ideas.
As far as it being hypnosis, that is letting something in, it is a willful choice of allowing some other control, I do not see that as intentionally done. Although I avoid hypnosis, much of hypnosis I think of more like spell casting.
Some examples of spiritual Jedi Powers in use in every day life. Watch Perry Mason, how do you think he got everyone to confess. Most trial lawyers learn that way of speaking to people. Or a drill sergeant is taught to use command tone when talking to troops, put intensity behind the comment and people react. Police interrogators use it, go watch MJ's interrogation tape, listen to the tone and cadence of the interrogator, and watch how MJ tries to keep it out of his head.
Go watch a company rally, they use the same techniques to get blind fellowship from employees, but not in the interest of the employees, or to teach, but to get them to conform to their goals. Go to a sporting event there is more excitement. Go to a live comedy show there is more humor. The reality of spiritual interaction is everywhere, and sometimes it is bad sometimes it is good.
Every song, every film clip, every word also carries with it things put into when it was made, and the parts you take in are your interpretation and many times that is based on the type of spirit you let be part of you.
The word Socialism and Liberal have been said with disdain and hate so many times that people that took in the hate with those words from people like Rush, now when they hear the words that hate is released. That is sending a spirit with the word. If something is said with anger, it can carry with it that anger. But you can choose not to take the hate in.
Sit by a water cooler, someone starts gossiping about someone in a mean way. And you find yourself in sync with them doing the same thing. When they walk away you regret having gone along with the comments, and wonder why you did. It is because you took in that spirit of the gossip and it moved you to join in the meanness.
But this conversation is all about power. Some people think money is power, I don't, because I have not seen it bring alot of happiness, in the same way I don't think anger is power, but I do believe the Love and the better ways can spread among people. Just like evil exist to make more evil, someone is mean to a person to spread anger, that's the real reason. Just like that when you are kind you can spread kindness.
Although it reminds me of many of the people that think cash, money, or material things matter. For me I think money is the love we can share with Almighty God, and how we can share his love with so many other people. Money is not what you own in my view. Money is how you love unconditionally. Life is so much better that way. So the Jedi stuff has always been real, but I think the side from love is what is the better side. Although I understand money has its purposes, being worshiped or captivated by its proxy power is not my choice. And many rich people feel the same way, and use the money they have in many good ways.
As an example, Love is money is how I choose to view this song, its amazing how different people can see different things.
If Money is actually Love, and not what you own, I like this video. The singer does mentions that what you own is not important, but what her interpretation actually is does not have to be my interpretation when I watch the vid. I can think "for me in that song Love is money", so I could watch the film with that interpretation and enjoy it just as much as someone that thinks differently on it.
