Hasselbeck Visits 'Friends'

http://www.tvweek.com/news.cms?newsId=11877

By Michele Greppi

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the lone conservative among the ladies of ABC's "The View,"
will sit in for Gretchen Carlson as co-host of top-rated "Fox & Friends"
from 7-9 a.m. Monday on Fox News Channel.
The booking is expected to be announced this afternoon.

It will not be the first appearance on Fox News Channel for the young woman
who is frequently berated, and then apologized to, by Rosie O'Donnell, her
political opposite on "The View."

Ms. Hasselbeck was the guest of Sean Hannity in the first installment of his
weekly Fox show, "Hannity's America," in January. She's also scheduled to appear
on "Hannity & Colmes" at 9 o'clock tonight.

She seems REALLY excited and I got the feeling she's off The View very soon....

1. Good. I bet her friends wanted her to stop sitting with the enemy. Good Riddance.

4. Hasselblech has all the personality
of a dead trout. Bitch can't leave too soon. She needs to be among her own kind.

6. Maybe she'll stay there. We can hope.
On The View, she gives credibility (a little) to fascist voices. On Fox, she's just another dumbass.

7. Expect them to find another wingnut
because the fireworks have been ratings dynamite.

Too bad Hasselwhosis was too weak to cope with people who disagreed with her crap. I'm sure Pox is more her style. The View was a nice stepping stone for her.

And no, I'm not a Viewer. I've just seen the shtik on a couple of short You Tube videos. I can see how people get sucked in, though. The old gang was bland in comparison.

Controversy sells. Maybe the networks will figure that out and start having real Democrats talk once in a while.

10. You're probably right but maybe
they're trying to replace that other one.
I can't remember her name now. Lost a lot of weight....

8. She was doing a guest spot on Hannity and Colmes last night
I won't say I was impressed overall but I was surprised to hear her defend CBS's decision to kick Imus to the curb. And given the difference in size between Rush's audience and Imus's audience I don't buy that the Repubs had any vested need to get Imus removed from the air.

She also refused to rise to any bait Hannity tried to toss her regarding Rosie. Overall, she seemed pretty level-headed if not a terribly deep thinker. But, I realize that's the first time I've ever seen her so who knows.

9. Maybe that was the spot

mentioned in the above article. I have no idea.
I don't watch fux sux at all, for news anyway.
If you did watch her in action, on a regular basis,
you'd be groaning. Rosie kicks her butt everytime!
It's pretty funny, actually.
I enjoy seeing RW crap shot down! ;)
