I think some people here don't realize from the perspective of wanting to get things done, Obama will make a lot more points on upcoming legislation if a healthcare bill gets killed by the left in the house than getting killed by the right in the senate. At some point Obama has to stand up to Pelosi for fear of losing most of the middle, and this is as good a time as any.
