Do you believe employers providing Health Care Insurance makes them less competitive
In the Global Economy. No other country's business's have to shoulder this extreme burden. It is hard enough to compete with countries that don't have minimum wage standards or OSHA standards or environmental standards but to add the burden of providing Health Insurance seems very counter productive. why is Obama insisting upon keeping our business in such a straight jacket?

1. Of course - but I don't want to pay an extra 10-15,000 out of my pocket
to take up the slack.

2. Daily Howlers been banging on about this, as they do, but in this case it seems like a valid point
Total spending on health care, per person, 2007:
United States: $7290
United Kingdom: $2992
Average of OECD developed nations: $2964
Japan: $2581

It seems like we are spending a lot of money to get substandard care, and then our political leaders seem to suggest that we need to spend even more.
