I decided not to go to my parents 60th anniversary because I don't want another fight in front of mom & dad.

I just stay away and let them all have it. I will visit Mom and Dad when no one else is there and we can talk like civilized adults.

5. A side note , but a bitter one;

Thanks to Karl Rove we can no longer have extend family events without shouting matches or at the least, walking on egg shells. Living in a large Pittsburgh family where Sunday evening is traditionally dedicated to an extend family get to gather ,this angers me as much or more as all the other "Dirty tricks" that have become part of our daily lives. There was a time in my life that I really didn't know or care to know what my relatives politics were, now we must wear it on our sleaves......sorry for the rant, but have the felling that many feel the same!!!!:grr:
