"Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service.

Some threats to Mr Obama, whose Secret Service codename is Renegade, have been publicised, including an alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee late last year to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history.

Most, however, are kept under wraps because the Secret Service fears that revealing details of them would only increase the number of copycat attempts. Although most threats are not credible, each one has to be investigated meticulously."



Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. secret service was assigned to him because immediately the death threats begun in ernest....proof positive at least to me that racism is a key factor

knuckdraggers being allowed air time on our supposed airwaves, without hardly any opposition. People like O'lliely, Limpballs, and Breck pander and validate concepts that their followers already perceive--mostly ignorance, bigotry , fear. And, I've never seen such one way screamin blue meanies repetitious fabrications as much as it has been for at least the last ten years. And, I hope and pray nothing happens to O because it may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I think there are people who are tired of seeing good people killed and do nothing. Because just looking at most of our MSM--ya gotta know that they help create the environment for such fear, hate and ignorance. They create the environment to influence how we the people will vote. And, they're not about to allow someone to get elected who truly will side for "we the people" over corporate bootlickers. And, if someone gets voted in by the people for the people? What do ya think's gonna happen? Just what's happening now. Yeah, whip those wanna be Timothy McVeighs into a frenzy and watch the blowhards backtrack about what they've been spewing all of these years.

I'm a Wellstone Democrat and I've been around to see JFK, RFK MLK, Paul Wellstone--all lost--those who were for the people--ya think people are going to lose "Hope" if something happens to "O" or do ya think a lot of people are going to say "THEY'VE HAD ENOUGH???"
