provide a rallying point for the liberals (what few there are of them) to goose the rest of the "center" and right wing democrats and Obama into passing something meaningful and truly different and better. Sorry to say, but it is a sad day for liberals and Ted friends and a great opportunity as well.

2. Because they are in the Dem party doesn't mean they're Dems
in my opinion, they are true Republicans in the vein of Goldwater who supplant an actual Democrat - preventing them from running.

5. ooo it would be nice!
Every word of his that they're playing on the radio about this stuff sounds so good and so compassionate. Those people are nothing but PIGS to want to stop our government from providing everyone insurance.

and his wife are making way too much money from the Health Care Industry to ever let guilt or shame get in the way of their river of money.

Hell at least Judas repented for what he had done.

7. I thought the same thing this morning. Only I wanted to see Obama be emboldened now.
I want him to go out there and say "ENOUGH!" and rally the Dems to fight like hell for the public option in the health care reform bill.

Do it for Teddy!

8. It may shame some of the older republicans into considering it...
But the Extremist Republicans can always count on the Blue Dogs to say no, because they would sell out their own mothers.
