If somebody who's on Medicare or who has group medical says we don't need a national

health plan, or can't afford one, to me they might as well be saying to the insured, "Drop dead."

And people like that make it onto my shit list faster than a horse can trot.

I dropped out of a club I belonged to because of such remarks.

1. It Explains Ones Character
If a person is selfish, greedy, out for number one and has no feelings for those who have less then they do they would be more then likely against any medical plan that could help so many people.
Getting sick, having a chronic illness, having an accident can be anyones fate. It amazes me that so many have so little fear of going down that uninsured road or have so little compassion for those already on that road. It's a civilized society that cares. We have far too many in high places--even some scarey preachers that are more concerned with a love of guns then their fellow man.

2. Why limit it to medical? Many of these same people live on SS, Medicare, but would deny
housing, food, shelter--all of the things paid for by tax dollars.

Selfishness is our only national identity any more...

3. I meant to type, "to me they might as well be saying to the UNinsured, "Drop dead."

Mea culpa.

4. A teabagger Medicare recipient at a "town hall" said to the camera,
"I'm here because I'm AFRAID of THE GOVERNMENT getting involved in my health care"!1

Incredible!1

5. Ask them for their name and suggest that they will be removed from
the Government Program of Medicare as per their request.. See if that gets their attention..
