Folks, been reading a lot on mass extinctions while ironically watching all the nonsense with a DEMOCRATIC majority in Congress. In the big picture? I think maybe the Dem Majority is an example of how we, as a species, are going down. We loved calling the Repugs "Neanderthals" == what if we are no smarter in working the chess board of human existence
I really think that the Mass Extinction Machine is already in place. I want my child, and perhaps my grandchild, to have some worthwhile survivalist options. I want them to have a life span with some vegetables, some wine, some protein --- maybe.
Folks, we aren't going to get "health care" -- we don't have health care NOW. So Health Care would be Something New. Unless you are willing to give up most of your income to Large Conglomerates (won't even call them Insurance companies) for pissy quality insurance.
CLUE: insurance companies should be NON PROFITS. everyone still makes good pay but NOT "wall street" pay: attracts people who are there for the "Mission" (serving the insured) not the profit: like other charities, all workers could make good pay, but would be trying to serve the insured and not driven for the stockholders -- this would attract mission-driven peeps. It worked and still works for Planned Parenthood.
