3. The comments are classic

The public option will be the post office of health insurance. Will survive only with infusions of cash from taxpayers. Stop bailing out the post office and you will see UPS and Fedex gobble up all mail delivery. Same with Government Motors. Stop bailing them out and you will see Ford, Toyota, Nissan and others gobble up that business.

Agree with both prior comments and let's not forget the $1 billion plus we waste on Amtrak every year as well!!

Not one mention of the billions we blow on war! Not one.

7. i think it's the same few cranky old men that comment on all the Business Journals.
Amazing, isn't it?

In today's Orlando Sentinel there was a story on the potential for a high speed rail project between Tampa and Orlando. the very first comment was (paraphrase) "Socialized transportation: you people will never learn."

I swear it wasn't ironic -- even tho, as I write this, I can't imagine it not being so (as in what kinds of transportation aren't socialized in some way/shape/form!).
