Baucus has a role model.
He is happy to shill for corporate insurance and turn a deaf ear to the people.

By being the MVP for the insurance industry, he will be able to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Billy Tauzin. First you screw the public, then you get rewarded with fat lobby jobs.

What a pig.

2. How did the republicans maneuver to get Baucus & Conrad to decide health care bill for all
Edited on Wed Aug-19-09 03:25 PM by LaPera
democrats and the country...these are small populace states senators, rural conservative corporate paid-off hicks heading this incredibly influential committee and the republicans knew health care would be a major issue with Obama and they knew they had to get these Dem fucks on that committee to decide the fate of health care, as well as the super rich insurance corporations futures....

It's as I always suspected, actually as I've always known.....that the republicans infiltrated the senate of the Democratic party long ago, using the blue dogs senators (like Ben Nelson) & corporate pawns (like many Dem senators) while also putting in the extremely weak weasel, Harry Reid as Senate leader....

I don't believe in coincidences, only conspiracies when it comes to the powerful, wealthy, ruthless elite ruling class, which the republican party is their party & tool in which they scheme and work through to do all their dirty work, where killing and manipulating is just part of doing business.

and left to die are newly minted or willfully blind.

4. Is Baucus stalling until Ted Kennedy dies so that we won't have 60 votes?
Listen carefully to Chris Matthews in his interview with Weiner. He let the cat out of the bag. We are talking 60 votes. The Republicans and Baucus are thinking 59. It may be too late already. All the more reason for Baucus to vote for real health care reform with a real public option.
