1. I saw that on the news last night.
I'm betting that, even after this attack, he is the kind of man who wouldn't hesitate to do it again if the situation arose.

3. always seemed like a good guy to me too
At one time he ran for governor but didn't make it through the primary--maybe he'll go for it again, now that our current Dem governor isn't going to run again.
