We get our son's MRI results back today.

Please pray that Rob's brain tumor hasn't grown back today as feared. His MRI early in the summer was inconclusive and perhaps just a bad "Slice".

6. good luck...brain MRIs are really

nervewracking. I had one last year, because of dizziness. Since I'm a 32 year old woman, the immediate worry was MS (it wasn't). Scared the crap out of me.

Tuesday Rob goes back to Yale Hospital to remove the tumor they found. It is believed to be a few cells that were from the first tumor a year and a half ago, and therefor not malignant. Because it is near his speech center they will spend a whole day mapping his brain with a silicone mesh implanted with electonics before operating. This will prolong the time under the knife and such but give the surgeon a better shot at removing all of it this time while keeping his speech center intact.
