Day 50 for Bergdahl

Today is the 50th day in captivity for an Army PFC from Hailey, who was captured by rebel Taliban forces in southern Afghanistan.

New information released by the parents of Bowe Bergdahl says their son's kidnapping remains a precarious situation, especially with government elections in Afghanistan this Thursday.

It's uncertain if Bergdahl was captured by Taliban members when he was on patrol, or off duty. It's also unclear if he's still being held somewhere in Afghanistan, or has been moved across the border to Pakistan, which could make any rescue effort by U.S. military forces much more difficult.
