I am starting to feel as frantic about Healthcare reform as I did in the final days before the GE.

"Obama's got it! No, McCain might still pull it out. Oh God, VP Sarah "I can see Russia from my House" Palin?! No, Obama's definitely got it."

"We're gonna get the public option! No, it's going to get watered down or cut. But wait, there's still hope! No, it's looking bad again."

I am exhausted from the emotional roller coaster and feel sick at heart over the whole thing and my fingernails are all but gone now from chewing on them. I never was any good at waiting to see what the outcome of a situation was going to be. x(

I'm gonna go email Snowe and Collins again. We have a pretty good version of Medicaid in this state and I am hoping to sway them on the idea of letting everyone have a chance at something like that.

1. Me too! Too much misinformation, first one thing, then another! :^(
It's mostly media manipulation, some might be deliberate "trial balloons" (but I really doubt that one), and the reactions here.

Meantime, the president and first family take in the sights and Colorado and he seems cool as a cucumber.

I'm trying to stay centered and optimistic, but also writing a few LTTEs and some letters to our elected officials.

Hang in there, GreenPartyVoter! :^)

3. I'm hanging! :^) I have MaineCare so I am covered for things other than dental and glasses, but
I really feel that everyone should be covered--for everything! (And people shouldn't have to purposely stay poor in order to get access to that coverage!)
