Know why? I don't have cable and don't watch TV. Therefore honestly other than the brief amounts of text I have read on the guy I have no clue who he is nor do I care. I don't watch his show so as far as I am concerned he doesn't exist.

From my perspective seeing people so worked up about him it seems like they are taking his bait. Got you all worked up about some idiot TV show instead of focusing on something that matters.

My advice is turn off the right wing hate TV.

1. I'm with you. I don't have TV, don't watch him, don't care.
Seems the only people watching him are the faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar right nuts--who no one will ever convince them they're wrong and logic will never penetrate their ideological shell...

...and those of us that are worried he's some kind of effective extremist subversive. There are probably MORE people on DU that watch and complain about the guy than there are rightwingnutters who watch and obey his every rabid ranting.

2. Sorry to say, but I don't believe that is true.
His whacko comments got him publicity on the major news and cable organizations...which the vast majority of people watch. If outrage is not displayed, and pressure not applied to stop the idiocy, it becomes entrenched in society.

3. The problem is the RW mental midgets who are very clearly being riled up to
frightening levels of hysteria and potential violence. They are not turning him off. They are buying his book. They are his loyal subjects.

4. Well, one result of the efforts by those nutjobs on right wing hate TV is armed nutjobs carrying
weapons and making veiled threats to Obama at his public speeches.

Some of us watch right wing hate TV and listen to right wing hate radio in order to monitor the escalating violent rhetoric, and then report it to federal authorities.
