7. I heard the same story about the neocon rag we have in Canada. I don't think

that puppy has ever run at a profit..called the National Post.

8. I find that very, very hard to believe. I don't doubt that they're

struggling and having difficulties, like most other major city newspapers and a lot of smaller ones. But I really don't think they're on the brink of closing, I just don't think that'll ever happen. Then again, nowadays you just never know so I'll guess we'll have to see.

It's very Machiavellian, for reasons that I won't explain, if it turns out my source just made it up, but it's certainly possible.

A source might help folks decide credibility (or lack thereof) of the rumor you are reporting.
