just where are we getting the money NOW to force Grandma to stay alive forever... and ever... and ever...

1. The money is there for wars and anything else they make money from.

It becomes suddenly unavailable when the general public welfare is at stake. You can't make money from that. Don't worry about grandma staying alive forever and ever. They will pull the plug when no one is looking.
