No option without the Public Option.
Kill the bill without a Public Option. Becuase if we go with Co-Ops, we're never going to see reform. What we'll end up with is a major sell-out to the Insurance industry, and windfall profits coming their way.

1. If the White House caves on this, that's it as far as I'm concerned.
Big business owns our government if this happens. They own Congress, and they own Barack Obama.

3. Technically - the Congress.
obama can only push it. And while I think he's stepped up his efforts, it was lacking up until recently. The Congress on the other hand is something all together different. They need to brand their asses once they get in office, "Bought and paid for by big business, screw the people".

2. Agree 100%
We must have a public option where everyone can participate with no restrictions...and all doctors and hospitals must accept it. ..otherwise, there is no real reform.

I'm sick of "bipartisanship". There is no such thing with the republicans. We've got the power...time to use it!!!

4. I'm absolutely on board with that.
There will come a time when we will have to decide the consequences of this decision in the same way that some of us had to take certain positions against HC during the primaries.

7. I'm teetering on the brink of 3rd party support if this goes co-op.
