He's a local radio talkshow host, a SECOND one, not the one I've mentioned for years. He's a retired Army officer who calls himself by his officer rank. He's also a Bible-erther, says that the President was not sworn in legitimately because at the SECOND swearing, no Bible was used.

At first, on the radio, he claimed OBAMA had screwed up the oath. Somebody called him on it, informing that jerk ROBERTS messed it up, probably to make the President look bad. So the wingnut readily AGREED, saying, "O.K., what about the SECOND oath?" This means he KNEW he was lying when he said the junk on the air.

I sent him an e-mail spelling out his LIE, with the links that said Chester ARTHER and COOLIDGE had also had a second swearing, no big deal. But he said that the Bible-less oath was BECAUSE (the President) DOESN'T BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE!1

The jerk had mentioned, a couple of times, taking his own oath as an officer. I asked him whether he had used a Bible. He has never answered that, skips around it.

You can quit with all of your crap, your personal insults, and calling me a knee-jerk supporter. I am a Democratic party voter. I have seldom had my first pick in the primaries win the top spot for the nomination, but ANY Democratic nominee is SMARTER, more SCRUPULOUS, and more of a public servant than ANY Rethug. So, I am "knee-jerk" in that respect.

There is NOTHING you can say to "convince" me of Birther-ism, or John BIRCH-ism, or militias, Minutemen, SwiftBOTs (as in "RObots," get it?), or any other Nazi CRAP that you spout. 9. You can't debate Birf-N-Turf

Debating requires logic and logic requires the ability to think and reason. Those of the Birf-N-Turf movement are not capable of logic and reasoning, nor are they capable of processing evidence that refutes their talking points. It creates cognitive dissonance that requires the ability to, again, reason. Some people are thinkers, some people want others to do the thinking for them and then tell them what to believe. Well, first I wrote THIS e-mail to the former owner of the station:

What LIMBOsevic, O'REILLY, HANNITY, "Dr" Laura, & BECK were not able to do, these two most ignorant motormouths (Frick) and the military moocher (Frack) have done.

I've been a 20+ yrs listener. The radio on my workplace desk and car were on your station. I remember your line-up back then: Dr Joy BROWNE, the other Michael JACKSON, Dr David VISCOTT, maybe Dr Dean EDELL---people talking sensibly to other people. And I remember when you all started with LIMBOsevic---how SHOCKED I was even just from the opening music, how "unConservative" it was. And I wrote letters back then, before e-mails, which you forwarded to him to answer. As I have long known, only the big advertisers run scared from customer complaints--you people in the media DON'T listen.

Did you see the letter in the (local paper) last week from the nice lady who wondered who and why were "these gentlemen yelling on the radio now?" I heard one of the station's bosses on the military lifer's show last month, pretending to listen to the callers, but bottomline defending the current status quo to the end, claiming that "Air America's failure" (somewhere else) "PROVED" that wingnut radio is the way to go.

So, (former owner), as wingnut as you are and as your erstwhile rants were, you at least show education and class. I have no illusions that my own boycott will matter to anybody but me, but it WILL for me, the same way I am much more at ease in skipping "Mallard Fillmore" and certain other comics: Nobody knows I'm skipping them, but I feel MUCH BETTER. Plus, I take satisfaction that your former station only has a couple of actual listeners.
