should have a competition for the best U25 versions of several classic songs that were revived during that period. Let's start here and then see if we can get other progressive blogs to get involved. Who knows we may be able to provide some scholarships or book grants for needy progressive youngsters.

1. All along the Watchtower - Dylan with harmonica

I know this isn't what you are looking for, but...what the hell, I was at Woodstock. I know Dave Matthews band did a cover of this classic at the original wing ding, and I have to wonder whether Hendrix did it, too (love his cover). At any rate, this rendition offers the song up the way Dylan himself originally heard it.
