1. "can you imagine bush trying to write an op-ed himself" - No.
This has been another episode of Simple Answers To Simple Questions.

4. He doesn't mention a public option.
Maybe he left mention of it out so as not to inflame his opponents, and that would make sense. But since we can't have single payer at this time, I'm not interested in any bill without a strong public option.

I've decided that I will not voluntarily give one penny to a for-profit health insurance company. Any dealings I have with any of those leeches will be under protest and the absolute minumum required.

The filthy rich whine about "redistribution of wealth" -- but who do they think finances them? Their unearned (and undeserved) capital gains income is more than the majority of ordinary working people will ever earn through relentless and unending effort.

The insurance companies are leeches and vultures, demanding everything and returning nothing, and I will not give in to their extortion demands.

Make sure that public option is in the final bill, Mr. President. I've trusted and supported you, and I'm counting on you!
