Diane Rehm's Friday News Roundup: Kicking butt and taking names.
Every now and then, Diane gets a bellyful and allows nature to take its course. On Friday, her guests for the domestic News Roundup were Jackie Calmes, national correspondent, "The New York Times"; Eleanor Clift, contributing editor for "Newsweek"; Matthew Continetti, associate editor for "The Weekly Standard." It was clear that Diane's goal for the first 30 minutes were to set the record straight about the health care debate.

No summary will do. Give it a listen: http://wamu.org/programs/dr/ Click under "Listen to this segment" for Hour 1.

3. Her Friday Shows are her best
I have gotten into the habit of listening to her Friday shows, they usually are pretty good, don't care for her shows much the rest of the week.

4. The national and international new roundups are outstanding.
They are what the Sunday news shows try to be but generally are not.

I agree that some of her Mon-Thur shows are a bit weak.
