2. I have no memories; I'm not that old.
1969 was eight years before I was born.

4. Not likely.
My parents were in high school, and a thousand miles away. (My father DID see Hendrix play in Byron, Georgia, in 1970, though.)

5. They TOLD you that.
That's what my folks said. Every time Alvin Lee's Going Home came on, they were upstairs before you could say Wavy Gravy. Hmmmmmm.

10. Hey.
I was there. It was July 4th. I fell asleep and was awakened at midnight by this guitar. I looked at my roommate and said I was dreaming about Jimi Hendrix. She said ...It's no dream!

6. DON'T take the BROWN acid, man. And if you did, stay mellow, it's gonna be alright.
:smoke:

Just chill out and groove with the music.

The music loves you, :grouphug:

11. I was drafted and serving in NJ
On of the civilians we worked with was a retired master sgt. He was pretty strict and as I recall his wife had died. That Friday after the festival they found his 15 year old daughter naked, under a bridge in Baltimore after she had attended the festival. Totally broke him.
