You know the saddest thing of all about the deathers?

We have the internet today. This is not the 1800's where information was not easy to come by and you had to go on what you were told from one source. We live in a time unlike any other - VAST amounts of information are easily available to anyone who bothers to look for it. They the ability to actually educate themselves on the issues. Yet they choose to listen to ONE right wing hate source and we have situations like this. These people CHOOSE to remain ignorant. That is what I find most pathetic about them.

1. They don't read. They may be able to read, but they don't.

They listen to millionaires, instead.

3. I remember talking to a woman who's husband was a dittohead.

He told her that Rush was really informed, that he read a lot of newspapers. Well genius, how about doing some of that yourself? Neocons do make it too easy for the sheep. Just flip the switch on the radio or tv and their version of the world comes pouring out. You don't even have to think for yourself at all. Can't get out of that comfort zone and actually learn the truth.

2. I think that many of them are elderly/Medicare and are just frightened, and

not savvy in the ways of the internets. They've (they believe) been able to discern their entire lives from what they read in the news and what they see on TV -- they don't realize that it's a different world now.

As for the younger deathers, they're just racists IMO -- THEY have no problem navigating from one hate site to another on the internet.
