Ed Schultz is SMARTER than I ever thought...Great Comments about Imus on MSNBC!
He made the point about the viewers and advertiser calling Imus out.

He's much more nuanced and clever than I ever thought...

If you heard his comments they were "middle of the road" but CUTTING and VERY CLEVER AND SMART. A NEW DIALOG for the "CENTER" from Ed.

As a DU LEFTY...I was happy to hear his comments.

3. People are fed up of
the Ann Coulter types on radio and TV. Bushco's hate culture is dying and the advertisers are not stupid. As the Rutgers Coach just said on Fugger 'Americans will take back America'...The people have spoken.

4. He stated there were 3 other host on his show who were involved in this...
he's right when he said Imus was protecting his boys on the show and didn't say whether they were sorry for the incident. in fact all of them should have planned to meet with the girls.

5. Ed is not that smart - someone wrote his talking points.
He has not really been good on this issue the past few days. Maybe his wife got him alone in a room and told him he had been a dumb shit.

7. And the Rutger's Coach is a Treasure....She was very reasoned in her
statements and left open what should happen over what the impact was over her girls on the team she had coached.

She deserves HUGE CREDIT.... A Hero.....for reasoned dialog.

And, even Al Sharpton (given his past) has been VERY GOOD. It's kind of like Senator Byrd who stood on his "old age" on the Senate Floor TRYING TO STOP the Iraq Invasion (even though in his W.VA Youth he was with the KKK because in 1930's America he was "seeking" in the "wrong places" and LEARNED.

He and Sharpton LEARNED...but Don Imus never learned...he just took the money and the money and the money and the TAX BREAKS and the LOVE from the POLITICO's and the CORPORATISTS!

9. Sure, we can believe Tucker ......
You've heard all the flattering things he's had to say about people. For instance, Hillary is a pleasant looking woman, NOT. He's the pot calling the kettle black.
Karma isn't going to be good for these hypocrites!

11. I remember something about him and his mob going after Contessa Brewer.
Edited on Wed Apr-11-07 06:23 PM by Pirate Smile
I googled:

"DON Imus didn??t like being called “a cantankerous old fool” by MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer on PAGE SIX. Brewer, a former news reader on Imus’ show, also said the I-man doesn’t know how to relate to “beautiful women.” “With that fat ass she’s got, she wouldn’t be one of ‘em,” Imus said on the air Friday. “That skank has to spend three hours with makeup in the morning … Who’s she kidding? . . . Plus, she’s dumber than dirt … Oh, my God, what a pig. But I was willing to cut her some slack and not say anything, you know, until - in fact, I didn’t say anything . . . That’s why they have those big double-doors there at MSNBC, you know, so they can get her fat ass in makeup.” An MSNBC spokesman said: “Contessa Brewer is a valued and respected employee. While Don Imus’ humor is often brilliant and provocative, we believe that this morning’s comments about Contessa went over the line. We have expressed our displeasure to Don.”'

10. IMUS was my hero
I wanted to grow up to be just like him.
Now he will just be another homeless smelly old man.
MSNBC, I am angry. Real angry. I am having I-miss I-mus buttons made RIGHT THIS MINUTE.
Okay, I'm over it.

Good bye stupid old fart.
See you in the unemployment line.

Maybe President Obama will take pity on you and make you his spokesman?
