Why did I get a second "CNN Email Breaking News Alert" for this?
David Evans, one of the three men exonerated today when the final charges in the Duke lacrosse sex case were dropped, said they went "to hell and back" and he hoped changes to the legal system would be made as a result of their case.

But I always read my email alerts. I didn't get to see the conference, but I wonder what they describe "going to hell and back" as? Were they ever in jail for more than a few hours? Now if they were sent to prison, then yes...that would be hell to me.
