Saliva dripping off your chin
Bulging eyes, maniacal grin
Handwritten misspelled sign in hand
Egged on by Rush, you "take a stand".

As cameras roll, you scream and chant
Your sound-bite so the speaker can't
Be heard at all. Your job is done---
Didn't even have to pull your gun!

Real discussion requires thought
And, if you lie, you might get caught.
Besides, sometimes real facts don't fit.
Mush easier to make up shit!

Freeper, Birther or Tea Bagger
All love to strut their "Crawford swagger".
Though "W"'s gone, one thing is clear.
You are his legacy: HATE AND FEAR.

3. Interesting Poem

As well as it is written it fails to acknowledge that there are two sides to the discussion. Ignore that at your own peril. Many, many peoples are no longer comfortable with the spending being done at governmental levels. Positions ignored become more virulent. Squeaky wheels demand grease.

6. And, the "other side" of the discussion would be what?

That it is OK to shout down opinions we don't like?
That "packing heat" to what is supposed to be a civil discussion it acceptable?
That "making shit up" is the equivalent of facts?
That screaming and spitting and bawling effectively answers rational argument?

Sometimes sqeaky wheels get grease. Sometimes they get replaced.
