Bud Heddinger, a local talk show host, for WDBO, promoted the March tea party. He was the one who made up the petition that we all signed. He made a video of it and put it on his website. It was over 25 feet long.

FROM AN ILLINOIS 9-12 GROUP
On September 17, 1787, forty-two of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention held their final meeting. Only one item of business occupied the agenda that day: to sign the Constitution of the United States of America.
The HOI9-12 Project is organizing a “We the People Protest” for everyone who is concerned that their rights and freedoms are in jeopardy. This is a peaceful, non partisan protest for voters to express their concerns and demand that our elected officials represent the principles and values of the constitution that we as Americans stand for. All who have concerns are welcome.
The protest will be held at the Peoria County Courthouse on Thursday, September 17th from noon to 2:00 in the courtyard. We will have speakers, music, and a huge copy of the constitution for anyone to sign.
This is going to be a huge event and we invite all of you to attend!!! Please pass the information on to as many people as you can.
Help us say “We’ve had ENOUGH” of politics as usual, outrageous and uncontrolable spending, and elected officials who do not listen to us! Help us remind them there is a little document called the constitution that they need to read and start paying attention to!

912 Project Fort Worth is hosting a March and Rally in Fort Worth, Texas on September 12, 2009. We are pleased to announce that Judge Andrew Napolitano will be the keynote speaker. Judge Napolitano is the Senior Judicial Analyst for the Fox News Channel.
Staging for the March will begin at 1pm and the March will begin promptly at 2pm. Afterward, there will be a rally with entertainment, speakers, and food. Charter Bus will be leaving Friday night 9/11/09 and this group will be spending the night at a hotel in Washington. The bus will take participants to/from events on 9/12 and return to Rochester on Sunday. The cost is estimated at $250 per person assuming a full bus and hotel double occupancy. http://www.meetup.com/The-SWFL-9-12Project-Meetup-Group/calendar/11048157/The Naples Tea Party will have a 9-12 Tea Party on Pine Ridge Road and US 41 at 10:00 a.m. and run till noon. Barry Willoughby, the organizer, is working with other like-minded groups to make the 9-12 Tea Party a success.
This major Tea Party will run in conjunction with other ones scheduled all across the country, including the big one in Washington. So, for those not able to make it to Washington, here is your chance to be a part of the 9-12 Tea Party movement right here in Naples.
The SWFL 9.12 Project will have a sign up table at the event. In addition, we will need volunteers to be trained for “new media” to help sign people up to follow SWFL 9.12 on Twitter.
