Raise your hand: How many of you could afford private health care if your Medicare disappeared? How many realize Medicare is a government-run program? OK, you can put down your hands now..

6. Both my parents are octagenarians with Medicare and Tri-Care, would be dead for sure by now.

They'd have been homeless, then dead, at least a year ago.

Between the two of them they've had a dozen ambulance rides and more than a dozen hospital stays.

My dad had a long two month stay including 3 ICU stays and a long term care facility.

I dare say their bills would have exceeded One Million Dollars for the last twelve months if they'd have had to pay it.

they believe they will be hurt by the Millions in Medicare Cuts.

The Democrats have done a sorry job of Communication.

There have been report after report of "squeezing more money out
of Medicare. Common Sense says take money out means a cut "for me".

A lot of Seniors have Medicare Advantage Plans. The Subsidy to
the Health Industry to support these plans is being taken away.
Not one Democrat has explained what will happen to the people
on Medicare Advantage??? It their particular company loses subsidy,
how much more will they have to pay. As it appears, this
whole group is being thrown to fend for themselves. Medicare
Advantage was a Republican Invention. Democrats did not like
it. An explanation early on might have prevented this fiasco.

When Republicans on TV say people are concerned over their Medicare
this is the explanation. You cannot Millions out of a program
add more people to a program with a cut somewhere. ARRP members
are tearing up their cards.

No explanation has ever been given. People are taking to the street.
It is because they believe this reform is simply reform of Medicare
and they ARE BEING SACRIFICED.
