49. I had both surgery and chemo nearly 30 years ago, you dodged a big one, congrats!

50. I'm so glad for you, greenbriar. Things like Crohn's and colitis can be "managed" with meds...

... and sometimes diet. If you are interested, PM me for the title of a very good book (and another that's a recipe book) written by a Canadian nurse with decades of experience with bowel disorders. It helped my son when he was having a bad flare-up.

Speaking from experience with my husband's bowel disease: getting an accurate diagnosis is the first step on the road back to health. Best of luck to you. :hug:
