I'm having trouble believing that anyone actually believes the Democrats are planning an extermination program for the old and infirm. Am I being naive, or is this just something they're all pretending to believe as a tactic?

1. Come on, these are the same idiots who believed the "Kenyan Birth Certificate"
Anything that makes the black president look bad, they believe.

4. Do they believe there's a "liberal" media? The earth is 6,000 years old? Obama's a communist?
Who the hell knows WHAT they believe.

5. Texas has an Advanced Directive Law, signed by Bush
It allows hospitals to disconnect life support over the objection of the family. Texas Right to Life helped write it.

They absolutely believe it. Unfortunately, once again, they're blaming the wrong party for their fears.

11. I remember that - at the time of the controversy about taking that
woman off life supports in Florida, Texas took a black baby boy off life supports against the wishes of it's parents because the cost was too high. Good old repug Texas. They are the only state that has taken this living wills argument to its worst conclusion and took the right out of the hands of the patient and into the hands of the government and insurance companies. Sick!

6. that was just Palin's way of confessing
her own sins.

You know the Feds had to shut down Medicare and Medicaid in her state due to gross mismanagement. 250 people died waiting for service.

8 lawsuits. Elderly and vulnerable people left to die.

Palin's Death Panels do exist. It's the one job she managed to finish.

7. It's the passive-aggressive tactic again.
I'm reminded of the scene in Fight Club where Ed Norton's character literally beats himself up and blames his manager.

In this case the RWers attack themselves with their own self-imposed fear and panic.

9. Bush passed something like it in Texas, when he was governor
Hospitals in Texas have the right to determine that it is "futile" to continue to care for a patient and pull the plug on them. It happened to my sister, Andrea Clark.
